Join Urban Chat’s Know Before You Grow forum for a conversation about the StrongTowns Local Conversations program.  We'll talk about how we might gain from aligning with other groups who share the mission like Urban Chat's.

Petaluma Urban Chat has accomplished much in its fourteen years.  But there is much more yet to do.  Luckily, we have potential allies.

There are other groups like Urban Chat through the state, the nation, and, increasingly, the world.  Groups that have missions and goals similar to Urban Chat.  Many of the groups have coalesced within the Local Conversations program of StrongTowns.

If we wish, we can become a StrongTowns Local Conversation.  We wouldn't need to change our name.  Nor would it cost anything.  But we could establish stronger ties and communication channels with groups already doing what we're doing.  We've all learned lessons that can be shared.
